1 to 1 (10th, 11th, 12th)

Our 1:1 services give your teen the confidence and college guidance they do not get at school and help you regain your peace of mind. A dedicated College Planning Coach works with your teen to discover their interests, choose the right colleges, and complete their applications.

Group Coaching (11th, 12th)

Our group coaching program guides your teen on their college journey within a community of peers.

The Roadmap (9th, 10th)

These family deep-dives are "done-with-you" sessions to cover the essential milestones for your teen’s success in being on track towards college. For families with 9th or 10th graders, these three sessions cover establishing application portfolio, course planning, summer programs and testing.

Know where your Teen Stands (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)

This 90-minute comprehensive assessment gives your family clarity and a strategic roadmap for admissions and scholarships success. Includes

A game-changing personality report outlining your teen’s strengths and interests with a list of potential colleges, majors and careers.
Access to our exclusive College Knowledge software with research and organization tools.

You will leave the session with a better understanding of your teen’s admission profile and the admissions process, plus concrete, customized suggestions to guide next steps.


Essay Coaching (11th, 12th)

Our Signature Essay Coaching is based on Dr. Pamela Ellis’ research and writing program created at Stanford University. Teens can meet with one of our trained essay coaches for support with essays from what to write that stands out and how to write a compelling essay, covering each step from brainstorming to final polishing. Can include CommonApp, personal statements and supplemental essays.

Summer Bootcamps (Rising 12th)

This three-day program is an opportunity for teens to brainstorm their authentic story, improve their writing, and finish a draft of their amazing college essay during a fun and engaging experience with fellow peers. Afternoon and evening camps are offered in July and August


Parents for College and Scholarship Success Community

(8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)

This online, parent-only community includes monthly training from Dr. Pamela Ellis and members of the Compass team, plus access to all the tools, checklists and resources to get your teen ready for college. The action plans you get each month would show you where to focus your efforts and provide the right level of support and hand-holding to move forward on the roadmap to success.
