Here’s what you’ll be doing:

This is a hybrid position, so you’ll interact with the team and clients virtually and in-person.   There may be opportunities to be onsite at various live events.

  • As a counselor, you will guide a caseload of 40-60 students through the college planning and application process. You will join a team of intelligent, passionate, caring, relentless professionals who are deeply committed to helping students.  We will provide you with all the tools you need to succeed, including administrative support, billing, a project management platform, and marketing. You will follow our proven model of success, which includes the most current technology tools combined with good old-fashioned client care.  
  • Advise students on their high school academic and extracurricular choices
  • Manage student deadlines throughout the college application process
  • Develop key relationships in your area to generate additional client base
  • Attend professional development events to continuously increase your knowledge of the college planning process
  • Write articles for the College newsletter and blog
  • Represent Compass College Advisory at conferences and community events
  • Visit at least 25 colleges per year

Here’s what you need to have/be to excel in this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) 3+ years of experience in college counseling, college admissions or related field
  • Commitment to the positive development of students and their families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

This is a virtual position, so you’ll interact with the team virtually.   There will be opportunities to be onsite at various live events.

The primary objective of the project manager is to efficiently and effectively manage concurrent projects ensuring that all deliverables are met and tasks stay within scope, within budget and on time.  You’ll be spearheading each project and managing up, down and across the team to ensure that everything needed is received to successfully implement the project plan that you create.

The Project Manager must thoroughly understand all aspects of launching products, services and live events, as well as managing affiliates and joint venture partners in the education industry.  The PM will manage teams of various sizes and track progress towards stated project goals.

  • Lead weekly team meetings
  • Delegate and assign tasks to team members based on skillsets required for project
  • Coordinate tasks and follow up to ensure completion within the time frame specified
  • Promptly respond to questions from team members related to the launch of project
  • Develop affiliate and joint venture relationships to expand launch awareness
  • Test QA deliverables created by the team (opt in, sales pages, email sequences, etc.)
  • Collect, analyze and report project metrics
  • Coordinate with Social Media Manager for Ad KPIs
  • Coordinate with team to plan, manage and release the launch of videos
  • Establish and document new procedures to support team in becoming more productive and efficient
  • Identify podcasts and influencers for CEO to partner with to expand her platform

The Executive Assistant supports and works directly with the CEO and clients on a daily basis to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office of the CEO and the organization’s client relations. Responsibilities are primarily internal, though the Executive Assistant interacts regularly with clients across multiple time zones and uses their organizational expertise to coordinate activities, meetings, events, programs, etc.

The Executive Assistant has primary responsibility for managing the CEO’s calendar and workflow, welcoming and onboarding new clients and coordinating the activities necessary to manage our center operations. 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Provide administrative support and work closely as a personal assistant to CEO

  • Answer phones, direct calls, provide basic information to first-time callers
  • Compose and type routine e-mail correspondence
  • Greet visitors to center, maintain calendar & flow of appointments for CEO
  • Manage new client onboarding process including set-up, program mailings and assessment administration
  • Maintain schedule, travel arrangements and other details for CEO
  • Data entry, maintain complex client database
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, forms and checklists
  • File, copy and collate materials, create and assemble files
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Maintain orderly, calm, clean work environment
