I’m Dr. Pamela Ellis, The Education Doctor® an award-winning college advisor and best-selling author who’s visited over 500 campuses. My firm specializes in partnering with busy moms to help their teen find a college that feels like home, without overpaying.

After finishing my BA degree at Stanford, I earned an MBA from Dartmouth and received my PhD from the Stanford University School of Education. I’m a mom of three – two sons and a daughter. My oldest attended Georgetown. My middle son attended Stanford and I have a daughter at Oberlin, so I’ve been through this process with my own children along with hundreds of teens like yours. Over the past five years, 95% of my students have been admitted to their top choice colleges with an average of $75,000 in scholarships.

I created this half-day training in response to the increased frustration and overwhelm that parents are experiencing as they struggle with balancing the demands of work, while helping their teen get ready for college.
